Biography
Francis Joseph Fogarty was born 24 November 1868 in Wallabadah, New South Wales, Australia to John Fogarty (1813-1885) and Margaret Kelly (1823-1912) and died 11 October 1932 Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia of unspecified causes. He married Annie Esther Lucas (1865-1923) 18 December 1888 in St Patricks, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia.

Obituary
Mr. Francis Joseph Fogarty died in the Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Brisbane on Octobor 11th, at the age of 67 years.
Mr. Fogarty was a well-known resident of Jandowae and Dalgy districts, being a hotel proprietor there for many years.
He was licensee of the old "Royal" Hotel, Dalby, situated where Mr. H. O. Arter's residence now stands and for many years held the license of the Exchange Hotel, Jandowae.
His wife died nine years ago, and he leaves a family of grown-up children: Messrs.N. R. (Brisbane) and A. D. Fogarty (Ascot); Mrs. Harvey (Childers), Mrs. J. S. Mulholland, Mr. R. S. Fogarty, and Miss L. Fogarty (Jandowae).
