I am having trouble lining up the chronological order of kingdoms of Amaziah, Jeroboam II, Uzziah, and Zechariah.
I have a question about the reign of Uzziah and the time frame. I read that he had a coregency with Amaziah for approximately 24 years. This helps to answer part of my original question regarding how Zechariah son of Jeroboam II became King of Israel in the 38th year of Uzziah's re8gn, given that Uzziah became King of Judah in Jeroboam II 27th year as king, and Jeroboam II reigned only 41 years. However, now my question is this; assuming that Uzziah and Amaziah reigned together for 24 years before Uzziah was sole king, how can this be possible if he was appointed king at the age of 16 years old, when his father Amaziah was assassinated at Lachish? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 126.96.36.199 (talk • contribs) - Feb 2021
