I'm doing research on my family tree but im coming up against a lot of dead ends. I know that the Chinchen name originates from villages and towns around Corfe castle mainly langton matravers and worth matravers. My father Leslie Chinchen lived in Newhaven E.Sussex with his father and mother James and Ena Chinchen and his brother Terry Chinchen then my mum and dad hooked up in N.Yorks before settling in Brighton. Eventually we moved to Eastbourne before moving up to Scarborough, N.Yorks in 2001. I have since then given birth to a son called Alexander Chinchen and I have been wanting to find out more about my ancestors as i progress i will put out a list of my chinchen family. -11:49, October 12, 2009 Spitfire0214
