I am trying to download my own photos that I added to Familypedia. When I use "save as" the files are not useable. What am I doing wrong? If I click on "original image" it works. - If I go to File:Selma Louise Freudenberg injured sledding on February 6, 1937.jpg, right click on the link, and choose "Save link as ..." I seem to get a viewable JPEG file. Which ones are not working for you? What do you mean by "not useable" (i.e. do you get an error message?). Thurstan (talk) 20:17, October 15, 2019 (UTC)
- On the other hand, it seems that not all links are created equal: my usable download was from the link under the image on its own page. If I right-click the link in my previous comment, it claims to save a JPEG file, but it is really some sort of HTML file.
