My mother, Kalavati Jamnadas, was born on 2 January 1929 in Valsad. I need to get a copy of her birth certificate. Can anybody of knowledge of where past birth records are kept advise me of the office to which I can apply to, for a copy of her birth certificate. Thank you for your kindness and help in this matter.

- Well, Valsad or Bulsar is a city in Valsad district in Gujarat state. According to Wikipedia, it has a district court. I would try that first. -- Robin Patterson (Talk) 06:40, August 9, 2017 (UTC)
