Here's a tidy little task for a bot:

  1. Collect a given-name from some facts page (possibly having devised a way to go through all facts pages in some sort of order so as to know when to stop)
  2. If there's already an article with that name, discard name and return to step 1
  3. If there isn't such a page, create it, containing:
{{Given
| name={{PAGENAME}}
| image=
| pronunciation=
| gender=
| meaning=
| origin=
| description=
}}

Return to step 1

When that's done, use the Baby Names Wikia for some more??

PS, before too many are done, see the suggestion for adding parameters at Template talk:Given. — Robin Patterson (Talk) 04:46, October 26, 2010 (UTC):

What are we going to do about Mary, one of the commonest female names in Europe? Thurstan 20:50, October 25, 2010 (UTC)
She and others in her unique sort of position can easily be made exceptions, sitting beside pages such as Georgia (given name), Mary (given name), and Victoria (given name), which would need individual or separate group attention rather than the suggested bot treatment. Wikipedia can be a guide but not infallible. See http://familypedia.wikia.com/wiki/Familypedia:Page_names#Biblical_and_single_first_names. — Robin Patterson (Talk) 04:46, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

I think we should be uniform about page names: if I want to look up the surname "Howard", I look at "Howard (surname)". If I want to look up the given name "Howard", I should find "Howard (given name)". Thurstan 03:09, October 28, 2010 (UTC)
