(First paragraph copied from my talk page. This is a better place to deal with it because there are more than three of us affected by this and because it can be specifically categorized here.Robin Patterson (Talk) 10:32, August 20, 2010 (UTC) )

Both {{locality}} and {{infobox UK place}} set up properties for places. Of course, the properties have different names. Can you kindly make a decision which names are better? Thurstan slightly prefers those by Phlox in {{infobox UK place}}. rtol 10:11, August 20, 2010 (UTC)

As I've said on its talk page, the UK (plus Isle of Man) one seems unnecessarily complex for Familypedia at this stage. The general-purpose world-wide {{locality}} matches our input forms and could be enough until they are perfected. Conversions to a more complex set of location definitions should be achievable by bot when finally ready to be done. — Robin Patterson (Talk) 02:27, September 8, 2010 (UTC)
There is also unnecessary duplication between our pages and those of Wikipedia. Wikipedia pages will be maintained but will ours? There are also many redlinks and missing templates. All looks very messy. I say keep it simple! rtol 13:50, September 8, 2010 (UTC)
