George W. Fanning (1839-1920) (b. February 22, 1839 - d. March 28, 1920)

Marriage

He married Mary Louise Salter (1841-1917) on February 22, 1860. The New York Times reported on February 24, 1860: "Fanning - Salter. In this city, on Wednesday evening, Feb. 22, at Calvary Baptist Church, by Rev. A. D. Gillette, D.D., Mr. George W. Fanning to Miss Mary Louise Salter, only daughter of Albert Salter, Esq., all of this city."
