December 16, 1996, Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, North Carolina, 29301, USA) Social Security Number 158102029 and Military Service Number 32240903.

Birth[edit | edit source]

Ethan was the son of Clarence Ethan Reeve I (1888-1960) aka Ethan Reeve; and Lillian Katherine Van Deusen (1898-1961) and they were living at 115 Orient Avenue in Jersey City when he was born.

World War II[edit | edit source]

He enlisted in Fort Dix, New Jersey on February 23, 1942 as a private. He was unmarried and had completed 1 year of college.

Obituary[edit | edit source]

"Ethan Reeve, Jr., 76, of No. 97 Foxfire Apartments, 501 Camelot Drive, died December 16, 1995 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. A native of Jersey City, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Ethan Reeve, Sr. and Lillian Van Deusen Reeve. He was retired from the Army Reserve and Durham Life Insurance Co. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg and also a former member of the Lions Club and TPA. Survivors include his wife, Marion Jackson Reeve of the home; one daughter, Pamela Boulware of Houston, Texas; three sons. Gerald Ethan Reeve of Westerly, Rhode Island, Brian Charles Reeve of Columbia, and Laurence Van Deusen Reeve of Pennsylvania, Gino; one brother, Elwood Reeve of Westminster, Maryland; one sister, Edythe Mancini of Burlington, New Jersey and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will follow at 1 pm. in the funeral chapel conducted by the Rev. Robert C. Morgan. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Upstate South Carolina Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, 114 E. Earle St., Anderson. S.C. 29621. The family is at the home, 501 Camelot Drive, No. 97."
