Obituary

MRS W. HURFORD.

At her residence, Sylvania, near Canowindra, on Wednesday evening, the death occurred of Mrs Hurford, wife of Mr William Hurford, of that locality. Up to within six months ago Mr and Mrs Hurford and family lived at Cranbrook, Gunning Gap, and after selling out to Messrs Ginty Bros., they purchased the Gintys' farm near Canowindra. Heart failure was the cause of death, and the end was very sudden, Mrs Hurford appearing to be quite well only a few minutes before the fatal visitation. The late Mrs Hurford and her husband were well known and highly respected residents of Bathurst district before coming to live at Gunning Gap, and at the latter place they made numerous friends, who will be exceptionally sorry to hear of the lady's sad end.

Deceased, who was 57 years of age, leaves a husband, six sons, and five daughters, for whom much sympathy is felt in their sad bereavement. The funeral at Canowindra on Friday afternoon was to the Methodist cemetery.
