  • The death of Mrs. William Marks, wife of Mr. William Marks, occurred at Charleville on July 26. Deceased, who, with her husband, had been a very highly respected resident of that town for about 40 years, was 79 years of age. She had been married for 62 years.

  • Funeral of Mrs. W. Marks.—The funeral of the late Mrs. William Marks took place this afternoon, the cortege being a long one. The deceased was held in high esteem by all classes. The Rev. W. F. Eldershaw read an impressive Church of England burial service.
