Elisabeth von Görlitz was born November 1390 in Hořovice, Czech Republic to John of Bohemia (1370-1396) and Richardis zu Mecklenburg (c1370-1400) and died 2 August 1451 Trier, Germany of unspecified causes. She married Antoine of Brabant (1384-1415) 16 July 1409 JL in Brussels, Belgium. She married Johann von Wittelsbach (c1375-1425) 1418 JL . Charlemagne (747-814)/s, Henry II of England (1133-1189)/s, Hugh Capet (c940-996)/s.

The Duchy of Luxembourg was mortgaged to Elisabeth by her uncle the King Sigismund of Hungary, who later also became King of Bohemia and Holy Roman Emperor. He was unable to repay the loan, and subsequently left Elisabeth in control of the duchy.
