Eleanor H. Miller (1871-aft1930)

Birth[edit | edit source]

Eleanor or Nellie was born in Ohio in January of 1871 to parents John K. Miller (1842-1893) and Annie Halle.

1880 Census[edit | edit source]

In 1880, Eleanor was living in the home of her parents in German Township, Harrison County, Ohio. Also still at home were her brothers John, Hilas and Estys. A man by the name of Thomas Hughes also resided with the family, but does not appear to have any relation.

1900 Census[edit | edit source]

In the 1900 census, Nellie was residing with her husband Charles B. Preston (1867-aft1930) and daughter Leona L. Preston (1897-aft1930) in Perry Township, Coshocton County, Ohio. By 1900, Charles and Nellie had adopted Nellie's sister Vessie B. Miller (1885-aft1900), who was also residing in the household.[1]

1930 Census[edit | edit source]

In the 1930 census, Charles, Nellie and Leona were all living together in Coshocton, Coshocton County, Ohio.[2]
