Edward Southworth was son of Constant Southworth and Elizabeth Collier. And the grandson of Edward & Alice Carpenter from Wrington, Somerset, England.
 
 
It appears he was active in Duxbury's civic duties between 1667 - 1691. So I see he must of have lived all of his life in Duxbury, Plymonth,MA.

He married Mary Pabodie on the 16th day of Nov., in 1669. daughter of William Pabodie and Elizabeth Alden daughter of John Alden & Pricilla Mullins of Plymouth, MA.
