Eastwell is a small hamlet and civil parish in the Borough of Ashford in Kent, England.

Eastwell contains Eastwell Park, a country estate covering the best part of one square mile.

Landmarks[]

Eastwell Park is a private parkland which has at its heart Eastwell Manor Hotel. Its fishing lake is as such the backdrop for a small golf course, indoor swimming pool and horseback riding. A black and white, well embellished, room-above, high-arch gatehouse Tower is in the grounds known as Eastwell Tower and is occasionally considered a folly.

The medieval church of St Mary the Virgin, has been a ruin since 1951 and is cared for by a national charity, the Friends of Friendless Churches who have made it achieve Scheduled Ancient Monument status.[2]

The parish has shared joint ecclesiastical and civil parish councils with neighbouring Boughton Aluph.

The substantively 19th century village centre of Boughton Lees directly borders the wide front lawns of the park.
