Dorothy Amelia Davis was born 11 September 1899 in Windsor, New South Wales, Australia to Frederick Davis (1856-1932) and Elizabeth Sarah Isabella Alcorn (1859-1955) and died 8 June 1920 Windsor, New South Wales, Australia of pneumonia. She married Albert Lloyd Stubbs (1895-1958) 16 March 1918 in Pitt Town, New South Wales, Australia.





Obituary

A particularly sad death occurred on Tuesday, when Mrs. Dorothy Amelia Stubbs, wife of Mr. Albert Lloyd Stubbs, of Pitt Town, died of pneumonia, leaving a baby girl ten days old, and another daughter 2 years. Deceased was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Davis, of Newtown, Windsor, and was in her 21st year. Much sympathy is expressed for the parents and husband. The burial took place at St. Matthew's C.E. cemetery on Wednesday. Rev. G. P. Birk, rector of Pitt Town, conducted the burial service, and delivered a touching address in the church. He was assisted by Rev. N. Jenkyn. Mr. Chandler conducted the funeral.
