Daniel Harrington III was born 5 October 1707 in Marlborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts to Daniel Harrington (1683-1723) and Elizabeth Warren (1673-1774) and died 31 August 1795 Marlborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts of unspecified causes. He married Mary Leonard (c1703-1793) 10 October 1733 in Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.
Biography
A soldier of the American Revolution and served six months (at the approximate age of 67) in 1775. First he was on the Marlborough, NH Committee of Correspondence and then he served with the Minutemen Militia at Lexington.
He was buried at Spring Hill Cemetery, Marlborough, MA, as of 2005, the stone had sunk so far into the ground that only the name remained visible.

In 1767 the first saw-mill was erected. We can hardly tell by whom or just when, but tradition says it was built at the confluence of the brooks near the school-house in District No. 4, and that Daniel Harrington controlled it.
