Punghina is a commune in Mehedinți County, Romania. It includes six villages: Punghina (seat of the commune), Cearângu, Drincea, Măgurele and Recea. The former village of Satu Nou is also registered as a component of the commune though in 2002 it did not have any inhabitants.
