Biography
Chester Adams was born 15 June 1754 in Pomfret, Windham County, Connecticut, United States to Isaac Adams (1696-1757) and Eleanor Adams (1712-1784) and died 17 March 1829 in Middlesex, Yates County, New York, United States of unspecified causes. He married Elizabeth Southerland (1762-1848) 13 June 1781 in New Windsor, Orange County, New York.
Wolf Chase
On one occasion Chester Adams' dog was chased by a wolf so closely that a daughter opened the house door to admit the dog, and the wolf attempting to follow, she caught him by the neck with the door, but he succeeded in throwing it off its hinges, and making his escape.
