Charles Edward Stuart was born 31 December 1720 in Rome, Italy to James Francis Edward Stuart (1688-1766) and Maria Clementina Sobieska (1702-1735) and died 31 January 1788 in Rome, Italy of unspecified causes. He married Luise zu Stolberg-Gedern (1752-1824) 17 April 1772 in Macerata. He married Margarette O'Dea d'Audibert de Lussan (1749-1820) December 1785 .
