Usage: For emigrants from Switzerland, and their children even if born in the new country. Not for Grandchildren or further generations. Please use category:Ancestry from Switzerland for subsequent (2nd 3rd etc) generations.

This category may get unusably large. Wherever practicable, if you have a dozen or so emigrants who:

1. came from the same city or canton; or
2. went to the same country or the same state,

please put them in a subcategory of this with a name such as:

1. category:Emigrants from Zurich
2. category:Swiss immigrants to the United States or (a subcategory of that one) category:Swiss immigrants to Ohio
