Bridget Byrne was born circa 1832 in Roscommon County, Ireland to Patrick Byrne and Margaret Wynn and died 4 June 1875 Woollahra, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes.

Wedding at St Mary's Cathedral, Sydney (Roman Catholic). Bridget was a Catholic and George was a member of the Protestant church according to the wedding certificate. Witnessed by Charles and Mary Dean both of Sydney the minister being J E Gourbeillon and witnesses to all marks was J P B Casey.

According to her death certificate Bridget had spent 26 years in New South Wales and she died at the age of 42 - hence she could have been 16 when she arrived in New South Wales.
