Antoine L'André was born circa 1771 in Nantes, Loire-Atlantique, France to Antoine L'André (1734-1789) and Maria de Riveau (1729-1787) and died 11 August 1811 Sydney, New South Wales, Australia of centipede bite. He married Ann Poulton (c1774-1835) 1 February 1801 in Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia.
He arrived in New South Wales 23 May 1800 on the Royal Admiral as a free settler (and prisoner-of-war).
