Anna Gorham was born 21 February 1771 in Medford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States to Nathaniel Gorham (1738-1796) and Rebecca Call (1744-1812) and died 21 February 1830 Medford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States of unspecified causes. She married Peter Chardon Brooks (1767-1849) 26 November 1792 in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
Anna was the daughter of a famous politician and delegate and chairman of the US Constitution Convention.
Their daughter, Abigail Brown Brooks, would marry the grandson of President John Quincy Adams, leaving them with even more prominent posterity.
