Ann died in 1879; two years later, In the 1881 Census, James Poulton Baglin (c1835-1912) with his two youngest surviving sons, Daniel Baglin (c1866-1939) and John Baglin (born about 1869), were staying with his father, Daniel Baglin (c1813-1883), at Lower Soundwell, Bitton, Oldland, Bristol; James and his father were both listed as widowers.

His other two children, Ann Sophie Baglin (born about 1863) and James Edward Baglin (born about 1863) were staying with his deceased wife’s father, John Lovell; both working for him as Market Gardener Labourers.

Her other son, William Edward Baglin (1839-1908) was a farmer at `Baglyn Farm', Staple Hill, Bristol, later becoming a grocer at 7 Agnus Terrace, Bristol. He also owned the properties at numbers 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 Agnus Terrace. In 1879 he sold three of them, 9, 10 and 11, to Frank Whitaker. Later (before 1928), the houses were re-numbered to 58, 60, 62, 64 and 66 Soundwell Road, Staple Hill, Bristol.
