Andrew Luttrell was born circa 1325 in Chilton, Devonshire, England to John Luttrell (c1287-aft1363) and Joan de Mohun (c1290-1378) and died 7 August 1395 Somerset, England of unspecified causes. He married Elizabeth Courtenay (c1333-1395) July 1359 JL in Dunster Castle, Somerset, England.

Notes: married Elizabeth, relict (widow?) of Sir John de Vere, son of the Earl of Oxford. She was the second daughter of Hugh, Earl of Devon. Through her sisters, she was closely connected with the Lords Cobham and Harington. On the occasion of the marriage, in the summer of 1359, Edward III of England gave them an annuity of 200£ for their lives, in aid of the maintenance of their social position. In 1361, Sir Andrew Luttrell and his wife went on pilgrimage to the famous shrine of Santiago de Compostella, with a retinue of twenty-four men and women and as many horses.
