Andrew Barton Paterson was born 17 February 1864 "Narrambla" in Orange, New South Wales, Australia to Andrew Bogle Paterson (c1833-1889) and Rose Isabella Barton (1844-1893) and died 5 February 1941 a private hospital Darling Point, New South Wales, Australia of heart attack. He married Alice Emily Walker (1877-1963) 8 April 1903 St Stephen's Presbyterian Church in Tenterfield, New South Wales, Australia.
