Andrei Ivanovich Olshansky was born 1374 to Ivan Olgimuntovich Olshansky (c1340-1401) and Agrippina Svyatoslavna of Smolensk (c1351-c1420) . He married Aleksandra Dmitriyevna Drutskaya (1380-1426) .

He married Aleksandra Dmitriyevna Drutskaya (1380-1426) [1]), from the family of Drutsky. The origin of Drutsky is debatable, since it is not known who was the father of Aleksandra: Dmitri Semyonovich Drutsky or Dmitri Olgerdovich [1][2].
