Amasa Mason Lyman was born 30 March 1813 in Lyman, Grafton County, New Hampshire, United States to Roswell Lyman (1784-1822) and Martha Mason (1787-1874) and died 4 February 1877 in Fillmore, Millard County, Utah, United States of unspecified causes. He married Louisa Maria Tanner (1818-1906) 8 June 1835 in Kirtland, Geauga County, Ohio. He married Paulina Eliza Phelps (1827-1912) 1 July 1843 in Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois.


Biography

Eliza Maria Partridge born in Geuaga County, Ohio was the daughter of 1st Mormon Bishop Edward Partridge (1793-1840).


Marriage and Family

7th Marriage: Eliza Partridge

Emily Dow Partridge (1824-1899) and her sister Eliza Maria Partridge (1820-1886) were both plural wives of the Mormon Prophet, Joseph Smith (1805-1844). Neither had any children from that marriage. After his assasination, Eliza married to Amasa Lyman and Emily married (Sept 1844) to the next Mormon leader, Brigham Young (1801-1877), by whom she had 7 children.
