Migration to Utah
At age 4, Almon jr, traveled with his father's family in Brigham Young (1801-1877)'s giant 1848 pioneer wagon train to Utah. 1220 individuals were in the company when it began its journey from the outfitting post at Winter Quarters, Nebraska.
