Alfred Bushell was born 2 December 1827 in Wilberforce, New South Wales, Australia to Paul Bushell (c1768-1853) and Isabella Brown (1801-1883) and died 7 May 1899 Castlereagh Street, Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes. He married Margaret Martin (1829-1898) 27 March 1848 in Saint John's, Wilberforce, New South Wales, Australia.
