¢ Children
  • James possibly did not marry; in 1880 he was still single, living at the family home in Allegheny; he was buried at Highwood Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
  • Hugh married Anna Marie Fisher (1862-1931) in Ohio in 1900 and in 1910 they were still in Allegheny County with nobody else in the household; no current evidence of children or resting place.
  • Mary married James H McLean (c1850-1929) and they had daughters Jean and Gertrude in the 1880s; Evidence suggests that Gertrude and Jean's probable only child died as children.
  • Elizabeth married H Clay Ferguson (1853-1940) and they had a son Donald Renwick Ferguson (1889-), who enlisted for World War 2 in 1942 indicating that he had a wife; more research may find he had offspring.
  • Isabel married Frank Gray Harrison (1853-1921) and had a son James Renwick Harrison (1895-1931), who in 1920 married Constance Singleton (1897-1931) and they had a daughter Jean Renwick Harrison (1922-1931). Findagrave entries point to the unlikelihood of Isobel having living descendants.
