Mrs. A. J. Salmon, relict of the late Mr. Frederick K. Salmon, of Tweed Heads, died here on Tuesday, aged 68 years, leaving a family of five sons and two daughters. The family is well known on the Tweed, where most of her sons reside. Two married daughters who reside at Quilpie, Q., came by aeroplane from Longreach for the funeral here on Thursday.
